One of the recurring questions I get on this blog refers to Honduras Immigration Services. Many are tourists that want to stay over their 90-day original permit. Others are residents that need to renew their residency cards. The truth is that the system was reasonably efficient if you live in a city where there are immigration offices.
I am happy to announce that as far as we have learned from a trusted source, that Honduras borders will reopen this week! I must confess that I was not aware that Guatemala and El Salvador have not yet opened their airports. Because they are still in a lockdown, their borders have remained closed.
