Honduras Tourist Information Centers

The Best Honduras Tourist Information Centers are in Atlantida!

One of the much needed services for travelers when visiting a destination is access to information. Although different web based domains offer outstanding, up to date travel information, the truth is that it is hard to find Honduras tourist information centers that can truly offer the information those travelers are seeking for.

In May, 2016, the first Visit Atlantida tourist information center opened its doors in La Ceiba, Honduras. Located right downtown, in central park, this is truly the first of hopefully many more Honduras tourist information centers! Bilingual staff, printed brochures and information magazines, certified travel experts who know their destination like the palm of their hands and can efficiently provide useful information regarding what to do, where to go, how much you should pay and the best time of the day to go.

These new Honduras tourist information centers are meant to make you feel at home and relaxed, so amenities for sale within the premises include some of the best Honduras coffee, locally produced goodies, such as casabe, great pastries and cookies, as well as great souvenirs to take back home with you, including t-shirts, coffee mugs, key chains and much more!

These first Honduras tourist Information Centers are opening up in Atlantida, and a second one is expected to open its doors shortly in the nearby beach city of Tela, also in Atlantida. The Information center is open Monday to Friday  from 7:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. Nearby the area where the internet del pueblo functions in Central Park means that you might even take advantage and bring your mobile with you to check your email or post that selfie that will make everyone back home jealous!

So now you know, when in La Ceiba, Atlantida, stop by Central Park, visit the first of many coming Honduras tourist information centers, enjoy a cup of great coffee and buy that souvenir t-shirt that will make everyone back home wish they had traveled with you on this great Central American adventure!
