After seven months of not seeing tourist, I was ecstatic this week when I say a group of four backpackers in Honduras. You see, I live in the Cangrejal River Valley, arguably the adventure and nature tourism Hub in Honduras. The area is just outside of La Ceiba, and just a short ferry ride from the Bay Islands of Utila and Roatan.

But rather from an area East of the peak within Pico Bonito National Park.
The top 5 destinations in Honduras are the following. Copan Ruinas, Roatan, Utila, Atlantida and Lake Yojoa. They are the five brightest shining stars in Honduras. I hope that you can fit most of them in your travel itinerary and get to discover Honduras. Happy travels!
