Argentinean Grill
Already established as an institution in West End and doing honor to the traditional Argentine grills! This is the place to go if you are looking for a good steak in Roatan. Located right on Half Moon Bay, the grill offers steak and seafood dishes. Open daily except for Wednesdays, from 3:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. they serve outstanding charcoal broiled tenderloin as well as beef, lobster and shrimp kebobs. Salads and veggie dishes are also available. Try their home made chimichurri (garlic, parsley and olive oil) sauce.

Linga Longa
One of the new kids in the block! Linga Longa is located at the Beach House, just as you arrive into West End. A perfect location, right on the white sandy beach at Half Moon Bay, looking directly towards the west to enjoy the perfect sunset! Dining tables are set in a lovely decked porch on the beach, with a view of the beach, the bay and the sky. Owner is South African and has named his restaurant after a famous South African restaurant. The menu is extensive and includes a bit of everything, from curries to lamb shank. Outstanding beef, fish, seafood and vegetarian options are all available. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the place to come for breakfast if you are looking for eggs benedict!
Ooloonthoo
This superb Indian restaurant is owned, managed and operated by Paul, a Canadian chef and Soden, his Indian wife, and has gotten an outstanding reputation on the island. Reservations are a must. It is located on the main road from Coxen Hole to West End, on the left hand side, just before you arrive at West End. Ooloonthoo is set in a large open air porch with fantastic views of the north shore and perfectly oriented to enjoy the sunsets. Their menu varies regularly, but its always superb; rich, spicy curry’s do honor to the traditional Indian gastronomy. Limited, but nice selection of wines. Definitely on the pricey side, but well worth it if you put in the perfect combination of site, atmosphere, service and most important of all, food! Reservations are an absolute must!
