Las Pergolas
Located at the exclusive Las Verandas Hotel in Pristine Bay, Las Pergolas is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Las Pergolas offers a magnificent Caribbean Fusion gourmet cuisine in a truly elegant setting. Try their famous conch soup or cold gazpacho for starters, and then select the main course that fancy’s you between the selection of seafood, meats, poultry and salads in the menu. Access to Pristine Bay is restricted, so make sure you call in advance and arrange for a reservation.

Aqua
Aqua is the fancy clubhouse restaurant at Pristine Bay, and offers a relaxed, very elegant setting with some of the best views in Roatan. Access to Pristine Bay, which is the premier gated community in Roatan is restricted, so make sure you call in advance to make a reservation and gain access to the restaurant. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, aqua offers gourmet seafood and beef dishes, and on Saturday and Sunday you will find the best sushi in Roatan right here! Aqua offers a nice wine list, as well as a full international bar.

Gio’s French Harbour
Located within the town of French Harbour, and right on the water, Gio’s is world renowned as one of the best restaurants in the Caribbean for King Crabs. Open for lunch and dinner and offering outstanding seafood with an Italian flair, Gio’s is probably the oldest continuously operating Mid Roatan restaurants! Always under the watchful eyes of the family who owns it, you can tell that there is a lot of tender loving care that goes into the process of food and service. Staff has worked at the restaurant for a long time and are proud of it!

Romeo’s
One of the best known Mid Roatan restaurants, Romeo’s is a true institution. Recently reopened after a few years of being closed, the restaurant has been updated, and now offers outstanding wood oven pizza, as well as their traditional menu which includes great seafood dinners and steaks. A full international bar and great service complement the outstanding menu. Open daily for lunch from 11:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. and for dinner from Thursday through Sunday. Romeo, the owner, is usually on premises and is always a great host.

Nichas Burger
A very Honduran style restaurant specializing in hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. This is not a fast food joint, but a sit down restaurant where families and locals love to come. Affordable prices and nice friendly, family style dining are to be found here. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Nichas Burger is located on the main road between French Harbour and Coxen Hole, in the vicinity of Jackson Plaza Mall.

Palmetto Bay Resort.
Beautiful beachfront location at the lovely Palmetto Bay Resort. Although out of the way, its setting in a pleasant tranquil Caribbean Beach provides the perfect atmosphere for a romantic dinner. Certainly one of the most unique settings offered by the different Mid Roatan restaurants.

Gio’s on the Beach
A branch of Gio’s Restaurant, this one is located on the road that leads from Coxen Hole to Flowers Bay. A truly nice setting with a great view of the Caribbean, in a nice large, air-conditioned building with cathedral roofs plus an outdoor terrace overlooking the Caribbean. Same great menu and service as in Geo’s, but much closer for those staying in the West End and West Bay areas of town. Gio’s is also a great dining alternative for cruise ship passengers when their cruise ship is stationed at the Port of Roatan. Gio’s is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Pineapple Grill
Located at the Clarion Roatan Resort, the Pineapple Grill is Roatan’s premier steak house. Huge imported cuts cooked to perfection, as well as a variety of other specialties, including shrimp, lobster and pastas are available here. Prices are at the same level as you expect in the US, but then all of the meat cuts are actually from the US and are top quality. Pineapple Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner. Frenchy’s 44
For a great lunch in an idyillic setting, go to Frenchys! Located at Little French Cay you will need to follow the signs to the parking area, and then take a three minute boat trip to the Cay and you will find yourself in paradise! Enjoy great seafood, burgers and salads at Frenchy’s, while you relax in some of the best and most beautiful white sand beaches of the Caribbean. This restaurant is perfect for a great lunch while you enjoy paradise. This is easily the nicest of all mid Roatan Restaurants when it comes to beach front eateries.

Herby’s Sports Bar.
Probably the best sports bar in Honduras, Herbys is certainly the number one sports bar in Roatan. A very all American sports setting, with a great menu with a variety of appetizers, burgers and main course alternatives. With over 20 TV screens within the bar, you are sure to find the sport event you are looking for right here. Bar serves great cocktails, ice cold beer, and top shelf liquors. Bulk Gourmet
Bulk Gourmet is an interesting combination of a gourmet goodies and liquor store as well as an outstanding spot for a great gourmet lunch made with the ingredients sold within the gourmet grocery store. This is the best spot in the Bay Islands to purchase top end wines, including a nice selection of California wines which are usually very scarce throughout Honduras. The daily specials which change from day to day, prepared by a retired cruise ship chef are always tasty and unique. It is also a good place to meet the local expats who frequently stop by to stock up on the different goodies available only here.

Bojangles
The only fast food franchise on the island, Bojangles actually has two locations, both in the mid Roatan area. One at the entrance to French Harbour and the other at the Petro Sun gas station in Coxen Hole. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m., Bojangles offers breakfast all day long, as well as a variety of chicken specialties. Basically, they serve fried chicken with biscuits and fries.
Pizza Inn
Sharing the same locations with Bojangles, Pizza Inn offers affordable takeout pizza service. In restaurant service is also available. Always a good alternative when planning a last minute trip to the beach and you have nothing prepared to eat there.
